How to enrol in a course

Courses

First Semester (9 October – 16 December)

  • A2 – elementary
  • B1 – intermediate

Course length:  50 hours (40 hours in class + 10 e-learning)  2 hours per day, 2 days per week.

Second Semester (5 March  – 25 May)

  • A2 – elementary
  • B1 – intermediate

Course length:  50 hours (40 hours in class + 10 e-learning)  2 hours per day, 2 days per week.

A1 courses  (beginners)

There will be no A1 courses.

 

How to enrol in a course

To enrol in a course, students must have their Unibo credentials to access the online test:

Students who do not yet possess a username and password should register here.

To enrol in an Italian course you must:

  1. Do the online test
  2. Register online for the oral test by choosing a day and time from the dates available, and indicating the centre where you would like to do your test.
  3. Take the oral test
  4. Find the level, teacher, timetable and classroom for your course on ‘Calendario delle lezioni’ using your Unibo credentials (username and password) and (if required) pay for it following the online procedure.

Important

  • If you have already attended a course and want to enrol in another (paid) course, you must retake the online test.
  • If you miss the first four lessons of a course and do not inform the administration or your class teacher in advance, you will lose your place in the course.

First Semester

Registration for the online test and oral test:  21 August – 27 September

Oral tests: 28 September – 3 October:

  • Cesena: 2 October
  • Forlì: 28, 29 September  - 2, 3 October
  • Ravenna: 2 October
  • Rimini: 28, 29 September

Classes published online: 6 October 2.00 pm.

 

Second Semester

Registration for the online test and oral test:  8 January – 21 February

Oral tests:   22 – 27 February

Classes published online:   2 March 2.00 pm

ECTS Credits

Italian courses are worth 5 ECTS credits.

To be awarded credits you must have:

  • attended at least 70% of the classroom lessons
  • passed the final test.

One ECTS credit corresponds to 25 hours of work by the student (including homework, lessons, etc).

To obtain ECTS credits, exchange students must insert the code of their course in their Transcript of Records as indicated in ‘Studenti Online’.

The result of the end-of-course test will be expressed as idoneo or non idoneo (Pass or Fail); no marks or percentages will be given.

Certificate

Students can print a copy of the course certificate in the section “Certificates and self-certifications”.
